Monitoring & Control Systems

Antenna control unit - ACU -

Antenna control unit

Product based on our CORTEX Series, the antenna control unit (ACU) controls limited motion or full motion antennas. It operates in positioning, rate, target designation, NORAD ephemeris and scan modes.

The ACU could be combined with a digital tracking receiver (DTR) or a radio telemetry receiver (RTR) to have a command and control system for autotrack operation.

Muzzle Velocity Radar - MVR

Muzzle velocity radar - MVR

- ref 512 719

Muzzle velocity radar

This type of radar operates stand-alone or coupled to a system; then the muzzle velocity radar forms an integral part of the land-bases or sea-borne artillery system, alongside firing control systems, meteorological stations, navigation and communications systems.

The MVR automatically measures the initial projectile velocity with an accuracy better than ±0.1%.

It is composed of a transceiver, an antenna and a digital processing unit integrated in a rugged housing, a display and control keyboard unit in option.

Dimensions : 11.22" x 8.26" x 5.44" (285 x 210 x 138.4 mm) (without the removable handle)

Weight : 13.22 lb (6 kg)

Radioaltimeter

Radio-altimeter

The IN-SNEC experiment in the field of the radioaltimetry was acquired with an external operation of development in 1997 : the purchase of the SNECMA-ELECMA's radiocommunications activities of which the major products was the strategic radioaltimeter of missile. SNECMA-ELECMA was prevailed then of an experiment of more than 20 years in this field.

Not only IN-SNEC continued successfully the SNECMA-ELECMA activities (strategic radioaltimeter of missile whose MCO is always in hand) but developed this activity through the realization of the radioaltimeter of a new strategic missile combining the high-tech performances (agility of frequency, resistance to the counter-measure) with the behaviour in a harsh environment (thermal and mechanical).
