Flight Test Instrumentation

IN-SNEC has developed unique expertise in telemetry and high data rate links in harsh environments. IN-SNEC furnishes suitable solutions in various bands and provides complete solutions dedicated to flight test, secure or non-secure communications.

 

On-board telemetry

IN-SNEC designs on-board equipment allowing data acquisition and t telemetry transmission aboard missiles, launch vehicles, and aircraft. IN-SNEC has innovated concepts currently in use onboard vehicles such as the Ariane V launcher and the Airbus A380.

 

Tracking and reception

IN-SNEC conceives telemetry ground stations. A large competence has been acquired in high-speed tracking antennas for flight test centers.

IN-SNEC is involved in the whole Ariane telemetry network at Kourou as well as the CNES 2GHz network .

IN-SNEC realizes unique equipment dedicated to flight test centers, such as the telemetry chain of the BEM Monge, including seven 3-meter antennas).

To meet the requirements of such systems, IN-SNEC proposes a cutting-edge range of products and services including concept, design, development and integration or installation.

Our RTR receiver integrates both Antenna Control Unit and Digital Tracking Receiver. Combined with our compact station, the RTR increases performance with standard or specific modulations (SOQPSK, GMSK,CPFSK).

 

Measurement systems

IN-SNEC develops specific microwave measurement systems adapted to cinemometry, landing control, radioaltitude measurement.

 

Recorders

The test recorder activity of its sister company Heim Systems Gmbh consolidates the IN-SNEC position as a European Market-leading provider of telemetry products. Heim Systems GmbH supplies high-performance data acquisition and storage systems; flexible and modular, they are employed for applications in aerospace industry and automotive industry.

 

Satellites Communications

From antenna to digital data processing, IN-SNEC provides main components of the ground station.

For more than 30 years IN-SNEC has designed, supplied and integrated antennas, pedestals, tracking systems, antenna control systems, uplink and downlink equipment.

IN-SNEC leverages its expertise and experience to provide both equipment and project management for a variety of satellite ground station applications.

IN-SNEC’s earth stations are designed to withstand extreme climates as well as the unique challenges of airborne and ship-based operation.

 

IN-SNEC solutions support the following applications :

 

Remote Sensing

The High Data Rate Receiver CORTEX-HDR coupled with an IN-SNEC Remote Sensing Ground Station (RSGS) and RF equipment compose a turnkey solution for high speed data transmissions.

The X-Band data acquisition system is representative of IN-SNEC's experience and know-how in in high-speed data transmission.

 

Telecommunications

Since 1978 IN-SNEC has been a provider of every RF components of satellite communications : frequency converters, low noise amplifiers (LNA), average and high power amplifiers with transistors (HPA, SSPA).

IN-SNEC equipment covers a frequency range from hundreds of MHz to 18 GHz, and a power range from a few Watts to 5 kWatts.

 

TT&C

For satellite control and LEOP, IN-SNEC proposes a monitoring, command and telemetry system, called the CORTEX-CRT. To date this product holds more than 60 % of the space system TT&C market and more than 50 % of the North American market. . It is the TT&C product of reference among commercial satellite operators, national space agencies and military users around the world.

So IN-SNEC provides a complete solution of design and integration of satellite tracking and LEOP stations, including ground stations and RF equipment

 

Signal Processing

IN-SNEC is building on its experience in RF equipment by focusing R&D in Digital Signal Processing, taking advantage of the latest DSP and FPGA Technologies and combining the two.

Recently, the sampling rate of Analog to Digital Converters has increased significantly. The introduction of new standards for data communications is allowing more rapid data flows on processors. Together with Real-Time Operating Systems, IN-SNEC provides highly flexible and modular re-configurable hardware for ever reached high performance Signal Processing Platforms.

All data that have been processed by these boards are then broadcasted over the LAN using industrial standards such as Gigabit Ethernet. Several network interfaces are available simultaneously for the benefit of the application throughput and parallel processing.

IN-SNEC has recently been awarded several contracts for Digital Signal Processing Systems including high frequency bandwidth and high density of channels.
